You mean the world tournament where fighters from all walks of life come to compete in? If I recall correctly, the last tournament was held approximately twenty years ago.
I cannot give you a proper opinion considering I was only a child at the time, but according to old reports, three of the four tournaments had the involvement of criminal organizations. Most notably, a man who went by the name of “M. Bison” was known as one of the most notorious criminals at that time. On the flip side, I also have reports that the legendary Interpol agent, Chun-Li, was known for cooperating with the US military to help take down at least one of the crime organizations. The whole situation screams dangerous, but I can’t help but think about how exhilarating it would have been to bring those criminals to justice.
